Do you do the whole "works " on your bed?
Do you do the duvet, coverlet etc. In the past I haven't. But now I want to try to get the "hotel" look for my bed.

I do but I don't put it out everyday, only for company really.

I wasn't quite sure where you were going with this thread from the title
But, I make the bed and use the nice pillows. I don't have a coverlet for the end of the bed, but I suppose if I had it I would throw it on there too (I like everthing looking nice and neat).

Right now we have a duvet and a lot of pillows. I don't have a coverlet, but might get one once we move into the new house. I love the look of a really comfy bed!

I just read the title again. I guess there are a couple of directions your mind can take on this one.

Re: Do you do the whole "works " on your bed?
Only for company. Right now, I have a duvet and a bunch of pillows and a throw on the bed.
But, lately, I've felt that my duvet doesn't look very "crisp" even after I wash it so I'm wondering if I need to switch it up to something else that looks better.

Re: Do you do the whole "works " on your bed?
I keep the bed light in the summer. Our pillows (1 each), 2 shams and I use the duvet cover (with out the duvet inserted).
Come late fall/winter, I add the duvet and a light blanket. Sometimes I keep the duvet folded at the foot of the bed with the blanket exposed, sometimes I don't. Depends on my mood.

Re: Do you do the whole "works " on your bed?
I bought throw pillows and shams, and they're now taking up valuable closetspace
I just do the northern european thing... sheets, duvet, and in the winter, an added blanket draped over the foot of the bed. anything else is too high maintenance for us.......

Re: Do you do the whole "works " on your bed?
I have a duvet no coverlet (i am always hot) and we have 3 Euro shams, 2 standard shams plus our regular 2 king size pillows. I love the look, but it is a major PITA!! We we re-do our bedroom. I may downgrade. It looks nice, but not worth the hassle!
