I started back to the gym and I am trying to figure out when I should eat dinner.
Do you eat after or before the gym?

I usually have a piece of fruit before I work out but I have dinner after my workouts. I have found that if I eat a big meal before I workout I get nauseous!

If I am running in the evening then I eat dinner afterwards because as the ap said I will feel nauseous

After. I eat a snack 1/2 hr before. Feels better for me to workout on a somewhat empty stomach.
I get home 6:30 from gym and eat between 6:45-7:00pm

Before -- I eat dinner at 7pm and go to the gym around 8:30 or 9.

I can't eat anything really an hour before I run. If I run in the morning - I do fine with just a banana - sometimes english.
otherwise I eat after.

I don't like to eat too late so we usually start cooking as soon as I get home from work, around 6:30pm. Then I work out around 8:30-9:00pm so I have time to digest and relax beforehand.

Your not supposed to eat anything too heavy right before or right after a workout. Big meals are usually 2 hours before or after the gym..
