you girls are talking my language .. I agree!
And with me, usually a "rut" manifests itself when I put on weight, and am not working out.. I just start to feel down about things in generall.. and its hard to just "snap out of it"

I felt like I was in a rut when me and DW discussed that we were going to hold off on a house for a few months to make sure my budget was straight.
I was in a crappy mood for days.
Then I got a lead for more DJ work and it looks like I may be expanding the DJ business. Even if it only means some temporary extra DJ work... its definitely a plus!
It will turn around.

I did feel that way but I just put in my notice that I am quitting my job on Tuesday and I will be finishing my Masters full time. No more rut for me!

That's what's been going on with me and my DH. I don't think it's going away anytime soon. It's been over a year already. You name it, it's gone wrong!!! We've been together for almost 12 years and this past year more things have gone wrong than all of those years put together. We've been having an extremely hard time. I keep trying to think and pray that things will go better, but after a year you give up all hope. Good luck and hopefully things will turn around for you soon!

O Red I hope you're right things haven't been going good lately and we are suposed to close on our house Tuesday so I'm thinking maybe that will be our good thing? I hope so I can't take anymore!
