Do you ever feel like someone beat the shit out of you?

I swear- DD is small for her age, but even at that, she is NOT getting any lighter.
At 20 months she is in this new phase where she wants to be held and carried A LOT.

Between that, wrestling with her to change her clothes and diapers every single time, putting her into and out of that car seat, carrying her AND the grocery bags,or my laptop bag etc, I feel like I had the shit kicked out of me in a street fight on a daily basis.

I swear my back is wrenched, I can barely turn my neck, my shoulders are sore, my calves feel like I just ran a half mararthon and the rest of me feels as achey as if I had the flu.

I guess I'm really THAT out of shape!

I am with you! I also have a 20 m old so I can totally relate. I feel like I am holding her more now than before but I also think its because she sees me holding my newborn. My back is def killing me!

Yes! My DH and I always say that by the end of the day we feel like someone's broken a chair over our heads. Since I'm a SAHM of three and he works with mostly reasonable adults until around 7pm I'd say he was hit with a beanbag chair and I was hit with a La-Z-Boy though. Neither one pleasant however. I also feel like we should all weigh around 100lbs with all the chasing and lifting we do all day long!!

My 2.5 yr old weighs 38 lbs. My arms feel like overcooked spaghetti by the end of the day. They are exhausted.

I used to do squats while holding him. But those days are long gone. I'd throw my back out now just doing one!

Yes. Everything hurts. Chasing and carrying 2 kids is tough.

Yes! It's awful. I am SAHM and wonder how i make it through the day with collapsing. DD is 21 months and has been very clingy and wanting to be held as well.

My DH wonders why I am ready for bed at 7:30 when she goes down Chat Icon .

She is just to heavy to be held and she doesn't want to be in the stroller anymore either so, like today we had a 20min tantrum in the stroller walking back from the park. To far for her to walk and to far for me to carry Chat Icon Chat Icon

Every time I get up from a seated position, I groanChat Icon Chat Icon DH always calls me nana. "easy nana, don't break a hip" ha these twins are getting HEAVY and their carseats are not light either. Plus everything they own is 2 feet from the ground so I am constantly breaking my back. I go to the gym to stay fit so I can keep up with them! I am sure it will only get worse when they are walking (in different directions) eeeeek!Chat Icon

By the time she goes to bed at night I feel like a truck has run me over. She hangs all over me, jumps on me and wants I be carried everywhere! I'm also 28 weeks pg with number 2 so that only adds to the feeling.

Yes! I realized how out of shape I was the other day when I was chasing my 14 month olds around for 5 minutes and my legs were sore the next day! Pathetic!
