Do you ever feel like you are such a disaster

I feel this way right now - and instead of doing something about it - I sit here and b!tch to you girls.

I have about 5 loads of laundry from Sat. night sitting on my guest bed waiting to be folded. I hate folding laundry when it's not right out of the wash.

I have ONE more Christening thank you to write out and then I can finally mail them.

I have gifts to buy for parties that we have this weekend.

I have to pay my mortgage - and want no part of going to the bank.

I have to get my sister in law who just had twins last night their gifts - and go to the hospital at some point today.

I have to go through the dogs things and pack away what we want to save - and then wash the toys that she didn't use that we want to give to the new puppy.

I have to write my Christmas list because I am going to the outlets on Sat.

TOO MUCH TO DO - and I don't want to get out of my flannel pjs and step away from this computer.

Oh - and - I have to take care of the 4 month old cutiepie who is on his second episode of Baby Einstein right now. Can we say it together...."BAD MOMMY!"

Ummmm....you just reminded me that I have a bunch of stuff to do and lists to make that I have been putting off.

No wonder nothing gets done around my house....I have all these ideas and tasks but there's no action.

Wow that is alot to do!!!

I know how you feel, it can get so overwhelming. Maybe (if its possible) try to just tackle a few of those thinkgs today, it might help not to feel like you HAVE to get everything done today.

I soo HATE to fold laundry, thank god DH does such a good job at folding it so that I don't have to

I was going to ask you if your SIL had the babies!!!

I have 1,000 things to do - I should be reading for my class tonight but that is probably not going to happen.

It will eventually get done, right? Unfortunately that is what staying up late is for!

I feel the same way more than once a week. Last night I asked DH why our house always looks so messy and why can't it stay clean. His answer was "we had kids" . It's so hard to keep it neat when DS want's to drag his toys throughout the first floor. I can't wait until our family room is done because it will more than likely aleave the messiness. Not to mention our "diningroom" looks more like a storage unit still and I have no desire to put the stuff I can put away in their proper place were that might be.

I say tackle one thing at a time and try to only concentrate on doing one thing and thinking about the big picture on how much you have to do. That always helps me not to feel overwhelmed.

It's pretty funny - but you are one of the things on my to-do list too! HAHA! It says "FM Ang - and get her the onesie ASAP"

If it makes you feel better, we do the same thing with our laundry, but as our house is so small we put our clean laundry on the sofa. I call it the “laundry couch”

You will get everything done, you are a MOTHER! And MOTHERS get everything that needs to be done, done!!!

Im right there with you this morning!!!

After my morning experience with the Suffolk County SWAT team I am a bit shaken....

Problem is that DS has a doctors appointment at noon and mommy needs to shower...

OMG- I am right there with you. Except IN ADDITION to regular house.baby stuff, I have to do stuff for WORK that I have been avoiding all weekend....

Diana , cut yourself a little slack, you've been very emotional lately, you are allowed to relax a little, it takes a while to get into the swing of things after gieiving. It is good that you have a check list, just do one thing at a time and breathe!!

I totally understand!!

DS's Christening was 9/23 and I STILL haven't even written out the thank yous yet!!!

I have a week's worth of laundry piled up waiting to be washed. I have all of Thomas' clean clothes folded in the bassinet in my room that he doesn't use anymore. I'm always folding his laundry after he goes to bed, so I can never seem to find the time to actually put his clothes AWAY!! Plus, I have all of the clothes that don't fit him anymore or are summer clothes and he won't be able to wear again in that bassinet too!!

At night, after I put DS to bed, all I want to do is make bottles for day care the next day, come on here for a little while, and GO TO BED because it's only a matter of time before Thomas wakes up and some nights are pretty long!!

Not to mention, my house is a mess. I haven't dusted since Thomas was born six months ago!!

It's all very overwhelming!!!

I have def had those days and you can't beat yourself up about it - having a 4 months old at home is a lot of work in and of itself without having other everything else. Jack is so adorable and I am sure you are an amazing mommy - so don't let the small stuff bother you.

Yep. I hear you. On Tuesdays we go to our library program (at 10). We stay until almost 12.
Got a call this AM on my way out the door, FIL is back in hospital getting tests done, can I please take care of dog..No problem and I love doing it.
Have a TON of laundry in the basement, I wait for DS to nap so I can throw a load in, and have been helping watch my nephew from 3:30-5:30 Mon, Tues, and Thurs while my sister goes to school. Not only do I have my nephew, but, I have DS and my 90 year old grandmother (whom I LOVE to pieces, but, she can drive ya nuts) so, Im basically watching 3 "kids".
Dishwasher needs be unloaded and mom wants to go shopping tonight for my other nephew's baptism. Now, I may have to ask her to watch DS instead so we can visit FIL if they admit him.
Im showered and dressed, but, ready for bed.
