Do you ever get invited to non-birthday parties from classmates?
I'm thinking of throwing a bbq for the class. No one in DS's class has ever invited the entire class for an event besides birthday parties.

We do mommy's night out or daddy's night out for the parent's of the kids in the class.

DS was invited two times for a classmate that has an annual pool party at their place every year. They invite the entire class, plus family.
Another friend invites a large number of friends, classmates, Cub Scouts, etc., to their annual BBQ/pool party, but I'm not sure if it's the entire class.
