Do you get a sono (or pic) on your first visit (8 weeks?)
This is when we are officially "break the news" to our families and were just wondering if we will get a pic? Or do we just listen for the heartbeart? They said at the office that a sonogram tech would be there.

We got a sono pic , but it was our 2nd visit and I was 7w5d

yes we got one and on our 2nd visit, since I wasn't quite 12 weeks. We were excited for that 2nd surprise

I didnt. I got a pregnancy test and then scheduled an appt. for a sono 2 wks later (i was about 10 wks by then)

I did, but my first appointment with my OB was when I was 10 weeks. (I was with an RE until 8 weeks.)

I did. I went at 6weeks and then again at 8weeks. You couldn't really make out that it was a baby yet, and the tech gave me a HORRIBLE pic at my 8weeks..I really didn't like her! lolz

We didn't get one at 6weeks, but when we went back at 9weeks we got a picture.
I recommend going for the downs/trinomy (sp?) screening- I got a ton of pictures from them.

Yes...It looked like a little tiny bean. We only saw the heartbeat at that point, couldn't hear it yet.
