Do you get your caregiver anything for mother's day? Added: (found the date for caregiver appreciation day!)
I got her a caregiver card but would you get a little token gift?
Joey goes to a small in home (state approved) daycare so I think it would be nice but I don't know if that's weird
WHO KNEW, there is a whole website for it  , it's always Friday before Mother's Day (funny, b/c thats when I was going to give it to her anyway)

(state approved)  Love that you added that!!
I didn't even know there were caregiver cards!!! I think a card is fine. If you know she drinks starbucks or DD maybe a $10 gift card..but not much else!

In the past I've gotten our nanny a small gift from DD. I might do the same again this year - like a $25 gift card or something....

I do get them something for teacher appreciation day though and for Christmas.

I know this, but that's why I wrote caregiver, I'm not giving her a MOM card!!! I'm the Mommy!!!! But I do love her and she makes DS happy. (& she is a Mom to 2 precious little girls)

A friend and I share our babysitter and she always gets her something for Mother's Day, which made me bc like you said I am the mom.

regardless of who is the mother, she still takes care of Joey really well and she IS a mother....I dont think you can ever go wrong with a nice gesture.

agree! there are 3 women at my DC's daycare. last year i brought in Crumbs cupcakes for them and gave cards. this year i will do something similar.

Good idea. There are two women, maybe I will bring something like that! (we have a crumbs right by me!)
