do you give abottle right before bedtime? Re: newborns?
Do you give a bottle and then your DC goes right in the crib?
I did thatw ith my dd but i was reading the baby whisperer, which i read with mydd but didnt follow this part with her,and it says to feed them then do some sort of activity( usually a bath to get them used to a signal that bedtime is to follow) and then put them down still partiallya wake to get them used to self soothing?

I give dd a bottle right before I put her down. She's still awake though when I put her down. Then she usually looks around for 10-15 minutes but doesnt' cry out and eventually just falls asleep.

I give DS his bath first, then his bottle, and then put him in his craddle. He is usually awake when I put him down and will lay there until he falls asleep.

i followed feed/play/sleep schedule most of the time. So I think yes.

DS is four months old. He gets a bottle and then goes to bed. The only activity we have is sometimes when I put him down to swaddle him, he starts talking up a storm, so we give him a few minutes to get it all out first....Then we rock him to sleep.
I rock my son to sleep and even with that he self soothes in the middle of the night. I have heard him get up talk a few minutes and then fall back asleep many times, this morning at 6am included (he finally really got up a 7:40)

we do batntime, then pjs, books, bottle, then in bed while hes awake, he goes out with 2 turns of the mobile...ahha
bed is 9:00, he wakes up around 530 am but sometimes at 3 for a bottle

I give DD a bottle right before she falls asleep. She's usually out within 15 min of finishing the bottle.
