Do you give Tylenol before shots?
DD goes for her 6 month shots and I think a few of you said you'd give tylenol a few hours before and it was helpful. She tends to get really cranky and run low fevers after. I'm just trying to make this as painless as possible for both of us

I used to....do it about an hour before.
She reacts really well with no fever...just some crankiness for a day, so I stopped giving her Motrin.

I haven't, but I know people who have or they brought it to the doctors office and gave it to them immediately after. Either way I'm sure it can't hurt!

No, but my kids generally don't run fevers when they get shots.

I usually give it while we're at the ped. I don't like giving them anything without their consent (I know I'm neurotic) - so I wait for the "OK," then give it.

I gave it when I got home from her getting her shots the first 2x but she never seemed to react badly to them so I stopped.

I give it to them when we get home from the PED.
