Do you give your DC teething biscuits?
My DD LOVES them. I tried the Zweibec (Gerber) and they were a big hit, but they had dairy and she had a reaction Then I found Arrowroot which are dairy free and she LOVES them too (I think she just loves food!!).
I only give her one after lunch once in a blue moon, but I've been told I'm starting a bad habit with sweets, that I should not be giving her "cookies" this young.
Do you think this is a bad practice??

I dont 'think so, everything in moderation goes over well for everyone including babies
I give them to Gianna too every once in awhile too-she loves the banana cookies, and Gerber biter biscuits. I just bought the arrowroot cookies for her.

Re: Do you give your DC teething biscuits?
DD loved the arrorroot cookies. I only gave them once in awhile. However, after a while, she would suck on them so hard, they would break off in huge chunks and it made me nervous that she would choke on them. Now...if i give her one as a snack...I break it up into peices that she can chew. It defeats the purpose, but she still enjoys them every once in awhile.

I give him Zwiebeck once in a while, I think it's fine. I also give him cucumbers for the teething and he loves that!

Re: Do you give your DC teething biscuits?
I give DS teething biscuits a couple times a week, he seems to love them for about 4min!! I dont see anything wrong with giving it esp if he is teething badly. It is not like he is gobbling them up like a cookie monster he is rubbing it against his teeth.
I also give him frozen bananas in his mesh bag holder.

Re: Do you give your DC teething biscuits?
I have, but they make a mess and he's just as happy with puffs or fruit. As far as sweets go, I don't think it;s a big deal if you give them treats once in a while. DS had a plain donut while I food shoppeda couple of weeks ago. My mom didn't approve, but I'm not too concerned.

We do too. I give DD the Earth's Best and Biter Biscuits on occasion. I think its fine! Its not like it's an Oreo or twinkie :) I think if it helps them with those chompers coming in, I can rationalize it that way.

Re: Do you give your DC teething biscuits?
For those of you worried that the cookies break off big pieces or they get real messy.......
use the mesh feeding bag!!! It is a life-saver. I also put the binkie clip on the feeding bag holder because Jack loves to throw things
I'm pretty sure I got this tip from MelToddJulia. So thanks again
