we definitely dont have a cleaning person. it would be nice i guess but i wouldnt really want somebody moving our stuff around, or even touching it to clean it. plus i'm the kind of person that needs to actually do the cleaning to make sure its done the way i like it.

We don't as of yet but think we will get one. I would love to have someone come 2xs a month for the heavy down on your knees, pulling the magic erase out & scrubbing type of cleaning. We can do the light maintenance cleaning on our own.

Thinking about it...we are both out of the house almost 11 hours each day at work/traveling to work, and it can be hard to stay on top of the cleaning. Trying to decide whether it's worth the money, I think the suggestion for every 2 weeks sounds like a good one Chat Icon

This is us, exactly. We have one and its really made our lives so much easier...

Our house is big, so it takes an entire weekend day for me to do it myself. Even if DH helps, it takes 4 hours or so...

The way I see it, shes worth every penny. My time is more valuable than the $70 she charges. It allows me to go to the gym and do other stuff, dry cleaning, nails, all the maintenance stuff I have to do on weekends. It also alleviates the stress of me getting mad at DH everytime he spills or drops something, lol.

Re: Do you have a cleaning person?

We do. I am not generally a big spender. I don't spend money on clothes, accessories, beauty products, new gadgets, etc. But this is one thing that I feel is worth the money. I really hate cleaning, it causes a ton of problems between me and DH, and it makes our lives so much easier. She started out coming once every two weeks, but gave us a big discount for coming every week, so we changed it. It's sort of overkill, since our house doesn't really get that dirty over the course of a week. I haven't decided whether to change it back or to let it be and enjoy always having a nice clean house.

We just got one in December - She comes every two weeks and it is absolutely GLORIOUS! I would rather spend my money on her then going out to a nice dinner or something because thats basically all it costs.
