Do you have a "Debbie Downer" in your life?
Not only do I have one, but he's my boss. He never has anything good to say, always puts down other people's things, I guess because they are not his, or he didn't get it first.
He's also a snob and thinks he's better than everyone else.
Even is we do something good in the office, he has to find something that's not right.....
How do you deal with these people?????

Re: Do you have a "Debbie Downer" in your life?
Yup...sure do! I try to avoid contact with this girl at all costs!! You can say, I just won the lotto! And she'll reply, "Uhhh...wouldn't want to pay THOSE taxes."
So annoying.
I try to communicate with her just through email so I can't hear the "tone".
If it's your boss or someone you have to have daily contact with, UGGGHHH! That would drive me insane!!

Yes!!! This person is so negative that it can be over bearing to be around her at times. I do not share any personal info with her about my life and I try to limit phone calls with her.

Yes, it makes me completely insane and this is a VERY small office. The other manager and I try to get him to take a back seat, but how do you tell the boss he's a @%#&ing pain in the azz????
The lotto thing is sooooooo true, I can see him saying the same exact thing!!!!
