do you have a high stress job?

Im an RN and a new manager on a nursing unit and i work nights. Hmm.. right there i see 3 things working against me. I was working the other night and was thinking to myself is this y i MC due to stress. How do you guys plan to remain calm and relaxed. I have tried to take the attitude.. "let it goo" and who cares.. but thats not my personality. Any suggestions?

I work 2 jobs and there are times when I feel very stressed and tired. I also wonder how much this affects fertility. But then I think of the women who used to plow fields and do all kinds of crazy manual labor and have a bunch of kids. Who knows??

I'm an RN also and its very stressful..i'm sure it contributes a little but plenty of RNs get pregnant!!

My job is pretty stressful too. I teach special ed in a psychiatric day treatment center. I even worked through my miscarriages. I will say this though, being at work was an incredible diversion to my TTC woes.

Now, my concern is my health and safety as some of the children can be extremely aggressive and they do not practice personal hygiene as well as they should. I keep my distance, use Purell as well as Clorox wipes and force them to wash their hands all the time.

I am a line cook at a hotel and it is VERY stressful. Sometimes I think to myself why did I go to culinary school and then I remember I enjoy cooking. Its the politics and some of the employees that are real ARSEHOLES.

I'm a buyer for a larger retailer so my job def has it stresses. I work long hours and travel a decent amount. I think a lot about how I'm going to have to let my job take a backseat when baby comes.

Yes. I'm a teacher.

It may not seem like a stressful job to those not in the profession, but I have had many sleepless nights, many nights of 2-3 hours of sleep, and many good cries over my job.

I'm trying not to let it get to me as much, and realize that I'm only human and my best needs to be good enough--because the last thing I want is to jeopardize a pregnancy over work.

I did-- I work in advertising and was crazy stressed all the time. I left my job in Sept, and am trying to figure out now what my next move is. I am trying to work freelance instead of full time while TTC and after I get prego. Once I have a baby, if all goes to plan, I will take a year off.

My job was incredibly stressful with long days and weekends. I'd come in each morning and have to figure out, "how am I going to move this mountain today?" I don't know how I would have done it prego, or with a baby at home.
