Do you invite your childless friends to your kiddie parties?
We plan to have a kiddie party at a party place for DS's 2nd birthday. Most of our friends don't have kids yet. Not sure if we should invite the childless friends to the kiddie place. I think some of them will think it's cute and have fun.
Do you invite your childless adult friends to kiddie parties?

Not to kiddie places.
ETA: I do something small for family/close friends at my house if I have a party at a kiddie place.

Re: Do you invite your childless friends to your kiddie parties?
Yes.....Just because they don't have kids, doesn't mean they wouldn't like to come...I was that person for many years. And sometimes it hurt my feelings. If you are friends for a long time, I think it is the right thing to do. Give the person a chance to say yes or no. The only time I wouldn't invite them is if it is a kiddie place. Then I would have a small family and friend party at my place another day...

I invite anyone to any place I think they will enjoy.
it depends on the place and the friend.

Re: Do you invite your childless friends to your kiddie parties?
Usually, no. I did invite a few childless couples to my son's 1st Birthday Party but that was more of a family/friends party with entertainment for kids.
I just don't want to do that to them I care, you see

Re: Do you invite your childless friends to your kiddie parties?
At least among my friends, the childless ones don't seem to be the type that want to spend 2 hours of their weekend at a bouncy place or farm. So I wouldn't torture them by inviting them. I would invite them to a kiddie party at my house though, because it's a little more "civilized" for the grownups.

No, I don't.
What I do is have everyone over that night for cake and coffee.

Re: Do you invite your childless friends to your kiddie parties?
Depends on the place. We do ours at home with a BBQ so yes, we do invite our childless friends.
At a Kiddie Place, No. Unless they were really into kids and love being around kids.

Re: Do you invite your childless friends to your kiddie parties?
I did for DSs 1st birthday, but that party was really more for us than him--we knew very few people with young children at the time, so that party was mostly adults. We also had it at home, no entertainers, just good food and a great cake!
I would if you think they will like it.

If at home, yes, if in a place, never. I know I wouldn't have wanted to go when I was childless.

Re: Do you invite your childless friends to your kiddie parties?
No. In fact, I didn't even invite most of the family to the kiddie party we just had for DS at a bounce place.
The only family we invited were my parents, MIL, FIL and his girlfriend and DH's grandmother.
All aunts and uncles were not invited. We had 20 kids, all their parents, it would have been too crazy to invite anyone else.

We were the first amongst our friends to have a child so I was never invited to a kiddie party when I was childless but you are absolutely right - the last thing I'd want to do on a sat morning is go to a kiddie party. I loved sleeping in on the weekends.

Re: Do you invite your childless friends to your kiddie parties?
We are having DS 2nd Birthday party at white post farm. We are not inviting our friends that don't have children. I highly doubt they are going to want to come. We invited everyone to his first birthday party which we had in a restaurant.
