I just started doing this because man....some of the things kids say are so priceless.
This past weekend I go into Roman's room to get him dressed. I pull the covers off him and with an obvious erection he smiles and tells me, "I keep my superhero powers in there." I nearly lost it. I had to walk out of his room and went directly to DH who heard him and replied, "that's where I keep mine too."

I started this when DS was about 18 months...its like a journal and I put down the funny things that happen or things he says

Oh your future daughter in law is going to love that one!!
I keep a journal on a small table in DS's nursery and while I BF on the left side, I write with my right hand.... cute things he does, sleep/eating patterns, telling him how much I love him and I do plan on filling it with cute things he says!
A friend of mine mentioned that she has a journal that she and DH jot in when the kids do something funny or sweet and I knew I was going to do the same. It's a great and special idea and cannot wait to read it in 20 years!

Not a book. A website. It's called LIF. At one point, I did start copying my posts & putting them on a word document. It's pages long now. I don't post half the things they say anymore. I felt like I was becoming "that mom" on the board.
One of my favorites from another LIF'er is when Marissa's son was throwing away the white crayons because they were broken
