Do you know at what week most women deliver?
It seems like most women go into labor early!
I would actually prefer to go into labor a few weeks early. Too bad I can't control it!

Actually most first time births are around the due date or later. But you can hope Just not TOO early.

i was a week and half early with DS, perfect b/c 2 days after he was born there was a massive heat wave.

I read somewhere, cant remember now, that for first time moms, the average delivery is 40 1/2 weeks.

I thought most women go to at least 40 weeks for their first pregnancy. This has been the case with most of our friends.

I've heard most 1st timers go to their due date or later. However, everyone I know (with the exception of 1), has gone early.

I heard that first timers go late too unless there is a problem or they are induced.
I was 5 days overdue and my sister was 6.

i had always heard that first timers were late. i personally delivered 3 days before my due date. this time hoping for about the same (if not just a little sooner )

For my mom, when she was pg with my sister (1st child) she was 2 weeks early, but she was late with both me and my brother!

Late with my 1st by 5 days and 3 days early with my 2nd.
I wouldn't hold your breath on going early with your first, I don't think it's the norm.

I too heard that first babies are usually closer or over their due dates. My first son was 17 days early and my second son was one day late - who knows. My girlfriend had both of her kids 6 days early. Either way labor is labor.

Both my sisters' were early, my older sister was a week and my twin sister was five days earlier. So you never know what might happen.
I hope I am later because then I stand a chance to be out for mother's day. I dread thinking I would have to work on that day

Most people I know with baby #1 went late. I would have gone late but DS was evicted (scheduled c/s) on his due date!

My bff went 10 days early (first child).
My SIL went 3 days early with 1st child and 5 days early with 2nd child.

Wait.. did I read that right? Your twin was born 5 days earlier than you? How did that happen?
