Do you know how to apply false eyelashes? How can I learn?

I had a set of lashes applied in my saln today for my holiday pictures and I feel lime every time I get them done, they change the way I look entirely. But they are so expensive to have them applied and I can't get to the salon every other day.

I like the individual lashes more than the strips, but I have no idea how to apply them. Does anyone have any tips? If you know how, how did you learn?

I want them forever!!

its actually pretty easy. i find that putting a little mascara on first helps and after the glue dries i put a little more mascara on.

i just put the glue on a napkin, dip the end of the lash in it while holding it with a tweezer and apply it along your lash line.

heres a pretty good how to video.. LINK

This is the way I do it as well (with tweezers and dipping). I prefer using the individual pieces and I trim them sometimes, depending on how dramatic I want it to be. When I am done I also use an eyelash curler and very lightly curl all of the lashes- including mine, in order to make it look more cohesive.

Re: Do you know how to apply false eyelashes? How can I learn?

I just did this last night. I bought ones that were very light since I have very few lashes. Didn't want it to look that strange.

I actually used the strips. I couldn't get the hang of the individual lashes. It looked good. Now I wouldn't wear them for a close up picture since I would forever be looking at the lash line but after I put liner and mascara on it looked really good.

I didn't think I could do it.

Re: Do you know how to apply false eyelashes? How can I learn?

I just took off the lashes I have had on since Saturday and I am so sad.

I have to learn how to put them on myself or get extensions--I'm just afraid they'll ruin my real lashes.

I already use latisse, and it's good--but not as good as falsies.
