Do you let your baby
play while eating?
We have the aquarium high chair with the toys on it. I kind of feel like it is a bad habit to start but on the other hand, it makes mealtime so much easier...
What do you think?

I believe you do what you have to do. I have a TV in the kitchen and some nights I even let DD watch tv. It distracts her enough so that I can get her to eat. Otherwise she's asking for food at bedtime.

When my DS was your daughters age I did - hey whatever works and makes your life a little easier is good by me!
He is now 3 1/2 and we have never had a problem with him wanting to play while eating or even playing with his food.

She has toys on her tray but she usually just throws them on the floor and I leave them there.

Bella usually will need a toy about halfway through eating...drives me bananas, but like a PP said, you do what you gotta do!
