Do you mix the pastina with something or give it to DC plain?
I've been adding a little chicken broth but I am wondering if there is anything else I can add.

I usually add some butter, milk and american cheese. I guess it's like a mac and cheese.

I do this also. The other thing I do is add pastina to her baby food veggies.

I also add his favorite veggie to it.

DD hated pastina and still does but I used to try mixing it with a little butter or her baby food veggies...

I found it in the pasta aisle although Earth's Best sells an organic pastina I believe.
For those that add cheese or butter, DS is only 8 1/2 months, can I add cheese and butter to his?

I don't think it would be a problem if you did. Probably a little pat of butter and 1/2 slice of cheese would do the trick. I usually add a splash of milk too.

Last night I made meat sauce and put some in DD's pastina. I made sure the pieces of meat were very small. She loved it.

i added sauce...i would even cook up meatballs and mash them up with pastina, sauce, and the meat- it is still one of her favortite meals!

Whe I made pastina for the boys I would cook it in chicken stock just to give it some flavor.

I put butter and grated cheese in it. I also make a marinara sauce and mix it in. Jared loves it!

I use the laughing cow little wedges of cheese. They are small and a perfect amount for a little bowl of pastina.

I make a "soup"- I boil chicken stock, toss in some cooked pastina, some frozen spinach and let that cook, and then I beat an egg and throw that in so it's like an "egg drop soup" consistency- that way, we have all food groups covered- protein, veggie and starch!
