Do you put foundation on your lids?
I have to say, I have noticed that my shadow stays better when I put foundation on my lids, too. Weird.

I wear powder foundation, if any, but when I do wear it, I put it all over.
It DEFINITELY keeps blush and shadow on longer!
eta: It gives the color something to adhere to, instead of your natural face oils.

I prefer eyeshadow primer(i use one by Paula Dorf) but foundation works almost as good!

I use some powder stuff by Mac...I think it's regular powder maybe a little thicker. My lids get a little oily and this solves the problem.

I don't use foundation. But I use concealer and I put that under my eyes, and on my lids and under my brows.
