I have these two cabinets in my kitchen that I actually despise. I finally decided to do something about them and paint them with a satin finish and then a glaze. I was wondering if I should remove the doors and hardware so I don't get paint on the hinges etc. I am actually thinking about changing the handles, so that's not the biggest issue. WWYD?

Personally - I'd just tape them but it would be much easier to paint if you remove all the hardware and paint the doors separately.

I would remove all of that stuff first and then paint. I would be annoyed if I got paint on the hardware even if I taped, because tape doesn't always work that well. Plus you can paint quicker if you aren't worried about getting it on anything else. GL! Take pics and let us see the before and afters when you are done. It's always fun to look back on those pics and think to yourself, "why did I live with this for so long the way it was". LOL!
