Do you see some scalp when your hair is wet--
and you pull it back in a ponytail?? I have a lot of hair, but it's thin. Dry, I see none...wet, I can see a little bit near my part. Anyone else?

I have fine hair - but a lot of it. When it's wet I can see some scalp but like you when it's dry my head is covered.

Yes! And I was so worried that I went to my dermatologist. She said it was completely normal and that it is "shedding" season right now. She recommended:
-Taking your vitamins
-Don't let your weight fluctuate
-Eat enough protein
-Manage your stress
-The product line Nioxin is also good for thickening up your hair.

My hair is SO super fine that it's a curse.
The amount of product and time it takes to get my hair to have even an ounce of body is insane!
So yes, I do see a ton of scalp when my hair is wet. But it's always been like this. Just bad genetics I guess!

No - I have a lot of hair and it's very thick.
But, I do have alopecia areata so sometimes I can get bald spots the size of silver dollars. I have enough hair that I am usually able to hide those also. 
When your hair falls out just check to see if it's coming out by the root (you would see the follicle)...if that happens alot, you can go to a dermatologist if you have any concerns.

People tend to think I have really thick hair when I blow it out, esp. now that it's so short. I have to see the derm next month; maybe I'll ask her about it!
