Do you send the lovey to daycare
Although DS has several loveys in his crib, he absolutely favors one. If we take it out, and try and get him to go to sleep, he basically cries until we reunite them. I am afraid to send the lovey to daycare, if we leave it there, something happens to it, etc.
I have been trying to get him to become "friends" with some of the others, but it doesnt seem to be working.
Any suggestions.

I sent a "faux" one to daycare when DS was in daycare.

Re: Do you send the lovey to daycare
No "puppy" doesn't go outside. That's always been the rule so it wasn't tough to apply that to daycare. She takes it to bed every night but sleeps just fine at naptime w/o it at daycare. HTH!

Re: Do you send the lovey to daycare
I sent DS to daycare w/ "white bunny' his lovey. But there were some days when I accidently forgot to take him home and my Dad would stop in and have to get him. Slowly, we started leaving him home from daycare (once - a few days per week) I would tell him that our dogs or my dad were 'babysitting' white bunny and all was okay.

Re: Do you send the lovey to daycare
Thanks for the replies. I think I will send him, but tell the babysitter only in an emergency to give it, like if he refuses to sleep.
