Do you sometimes buy the same item...in 2 sizes?
I do this all the time with yoga pants. I have smalls and mediums. Lately I've been going up and down 5 pounds...

Sometimes I do. Mostly with pants though. I'll buy one size bigger for "fat" casual days, and also in a size that currently fits me for a more tailored look.
If I find a style of pants I really like and I buy them in different colors, I usually buy the lighter color (beige or khaki) in a bigger size. I don't like panty lines or my soft butt showing through the lighter colored pants, so I go a size up.
