Do you swaddle for naps?
I've been swaddling Brendan at night, but he has trouble staying asleep for naps. I swaddled him today for a nap and he actually slept for a little while. I'm just wondering because the miracle blanket says not to swaddle for more than 10 hours in a 24 hour period. Nighttime alone is about 10 hours.

We swaddled Miranda for 6 months for naps and bedtime. It was the only way she would sleep.

We are doing the same for Julia as well - and she is 2.5 months - its been working good so far.

We swaddle for naps and bedtime. Sometimes we do the one hand in and one out for naps but if we want her to sleep a little longer we swaddle.

thanks! i think i will try swaddling for naps then. Right now he falls asleep, but usually wakes right up after I put him down and i know he is sooo tired.

I only swaddle Victoria for bedtime. For naps she is belly down. Its the only way I can get more than 20 mins out of her. Of course I watch her like a hawk on the video monitor.
