Do you think 75 degrees is too warm to keep an office?
Just curious what the general consensus is.

Probably, but different spaces require different temperatures to feel comfortable. An office that is very large and open may require a higher temperature to feel comfortable than a smaller, more cramped one.

Re: Do you think 75 degrees is too warm to keep an office?
I would be dying if it was 75!!!
My office likes to keep it like a prison in here so we are at a tops of 64 degrees and the blower is always on in my department.
But the thermometer is in the main area where there are more people. So I think my office is actually colder.
I have a blanket in case it gets too cold.

No. Mine is 78. We’re all always freezing.
Last week something was wrong with the heat and it was 65. My boss was out and when we told her what had happened she couldn’t believe we stayed at work “under those conditions.”

OMG I would mellllllt. That is WAY too warm!!! I keep my house between 62-64, if I had to sit in a 75 degree room I would literally die. With all the germs going around too this time of year they should absolutely keep it cooler, 75 is INSANELY hot.

I'd love it at 75. My office is kept bet 65-70 and I freeze. I keep a space heater by me the whole winter.

yes i think 75 is too warm.
My office's building was constructed so poorly. My office is freezing in the winter and hot in the summer. Currently sitting here with my winter jacket on.

Re: Do you think 75 degrees is too warm to keep an office?
Yes, probably. If I put my thermostat in my house up to 75 I'd be sweating. 70 is good.

In my office the thermostat says one thing but different areas of the office feel another way. It's zoned and not balanced properly. Plus people with windows are at times hotter or colder. It may say 73 but in my office i have my space heater going. It's all relative.

Re: Do you think 75 degrees is too warm to keep an office?
So it's usually set in the high 60s or 70 at most I think.
I'm usually freezing in here summer and winter and use a space heater for my own personal office.
Friday I heard that it was very cold and the AC was on. They must have "fixed" it and come Monday it was almost 77 degrees. Today it's showing 75.
I am usually not hot but I feel like I can't breathe in here these last 2 days. I've been running a fan which is unheard of for me. You can't open a window either- they are not the kind of windows you can open. I wish to God I had a window that was usable so I could get some air.
I had my cardigan off and was sitting in a tank top and sweating. I had to go downstairs and go outside to cool down.
I was going to say something but wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy for thinking having it set at 75 was too warm. (I get a little overheated right before my period so I wasn't sure if it was just me being hormonal. LOL)

Re: Do you think 75 degrees is too warm to keep an office?
Yes I'm going to complain The issue is we have people who sit out there who complain how cold it is all the time and sit wrapped in blankets so they are loving it. But 75 is just excessive. For me to be this warm, it's bad. I'm usually not warm.

Re: Do you think 75 degrees is too warm to keep an office?
Oh god. That’s terribly warm. And with my hot flashes - I’d be naked at my desk
It’s like they are asking for the germs to stick around lol That’s how I feel when I’m in a group setting Indoors. If the temp is warmer than it should be, I feel their germs hanging around waiting for me to breathe them in (I’m a weirdo)
