a lot of the fairs usually have a rain date of either sunday (for saturday fairs) or one day the following weekend. You could check into that to see if it applies to the fairs you're looking at.

I'm so glad you posted this--we were going to go and I didn't know it was cancelled (and right now it isn't raining, just VERY grey...). Is there a rain date?
