Do you think gold herringbone necklaces from the late 80's will ever be in style again?
I sold some gold today for my Grandmother and she got $1400!!
I was thinking of selling some of mine and I have a pretty think and heavy gold herringbone necklace. It's so pretty in an '80s kind of way I am not sure I am ready to part with it even though its been sitting in my closet for years.
Do you ever think it will come in style again?

to be honest I think alot of that is classic looking and never really goes Out.
it just needs to be styled properly..

I've been hanging on to a few select pieces that I didn't have the heart to sell a few years ago. one being my diamond name plate that I got for my sweet 16, and I also have a few chunky gold chains like (one is a figaro).
on the one hand it would be nice to cash them in when gold is at an all time high. but then what? so I have some extra cash to shop with... big deal. meanwhile, those pieces are gone forever.
I would like to pass some of those pieces down, so I will not be selling them.
I sold a LOT of gold junk a couple of years ago. so whatever I have left I think I would like to keep.
I say - keep it! unless you need the $ for something.
