Do you think "green" cleansers do a good job of disinfecting?
I saw an ad for Clorox green works dish detergent. I think its a great idea, but with dishes/silverware do you think it actually disinfects? I would be afraid that my eating utensils would not be as clean as with traditional soap since it is made with all plant matter.
What do you think?

I bought some green detergent and I hated the way it cleaned my clothes. I felt like they didnt really clean them completely. I was sad about that because I am trying to be as green as possible .

I don't like the laundry detergent ........ but I use white vinegar to clean a lot of things, I also LOVE my steam mop !!!
I don't really love the 'green' products, but honestly, it may just be all in my head - ya know?

I think they work fine. They still contain surfactants, which is essentially "soap" that will destroy bacteria.

I just saw a segment on Cook's Country by America's Test Kitchen this weekend where they tested all different dishwashing soaps. They found that Method and Seventh Generation contained more surfactants than the non-organic brands. They cleaned the best.

To be honest, one reason why I like the green cleaners is that they don't 'overly' disinfect.

Method as in the brand they sell at Target a lot? I love their handsoap. Are they organic?
