Do you think I can get a good deal for a baptism venue on Mother's Day??
My DH has to take his vacation time in advance and picked Mother's Day for Colin's baptism (we didn't realize it at the time).
We were going to do tents in the yard but we need a new fence and patio and it's a lot of pressure to get done in a few months.
But, will restaurants rent their private rooms on Mother's Day? I was hoping to find a place that offers a brunch and maybe get a deal on the evening??
I've been trying to call around places in Nassau today but nothing is open due to the weather.
Any recommendations? 50-60 people

it would depend on the place but I know for most restaurants that is one of the busiest days of the year.
Some places may use their party space for extra dining space
maybe try more of a catering/reception venue?

Some places may use their party space for extra dining space
maybe try more of a catering/reception venue?

I think most places have their own catering things on Mothers Day and it would probably be hard to find something

Just got through to Singletons - they have 2 rooms. I'm thinking a lot of venues do Mother's Day Brunch and if they have private rooms, may not book up. Guess I'll find out when more people answer the phone
