Do you think I need 2 changing tables?

I have one for Andrew already and don't know when i will stop needing it.

Do you think I should get a changing pad for DD and just put it on her dresser? Or just use Andrew's? Ir get rid of Andrew's and just use DD's?

I would not get another one, waste of money IMHO if you already have one that you can use

I wouldn't get another one. If Alexa's dresser is low enough - just get a changing pad for it...Andrew will get too big for his soon anyway I'm sure.

We got Jeremy new furniture and we are giving the baby Jeremy's furniture. We will just change Jeremy on the floor or in the baby's room. The furniture is due to arrive next week so I will let you know how it goes!!

I would not buy 2. If you are concerned about "cross contamination" put a disposable pad on top of the changing table between kids. Or wipe the pad with Clorox everywhere sanitizer between kids.

We will have two in diapers and only one changing table (pad on top of dresser) in the baby's room. I wouldn't want two.

i took DD#1's for DD#2 - she wasn't too pleased Chat Icon , but got over it. a week before DD#2 arrived DD#1 decided it was time for her to potty train so the timing was perfect...

But no, to the OP, I don't think you will. Don't you think your DS will be potty trained soon?

I do not think you need two. If you are worried about being sanitary I would just throw a different receiving blanket over the pad for each child. I have a 5 week old and a 13 month old and I have one changing table. I mostly change my 5 week old DD in her pack and play in the living room. I When I do use the changing table I switch the receiving blanket.

DS still fits (well kinda Chat Icon ) on his changing station dresser(it's a shorter dresser and 1/3 of it is raised with a door on that side) and he is going to be 3 in April. DD has a long dresser with changing pad on it.
I guess I never thought to only have 1 since DS was still so little at the time. I am trying potting training now but he really isn't ready yet.

Re: Do you think I need 2 changing tables?

not necessary IMO. I stopped using the changing table for Roman around 2. I throw a pad on the floor or bed and change him.

No he def won't be unless he trains himselfChat Icon I am waiting until after this baby is born and we will go from there.

Thanks everyone. I think I am going to put the changing pad in her room on her dresser. And then change Andrew on my bed or something.

I'm confused, if you have a changing table already, why would you need to change him on your bed? I say change both kids on the same changing table and call it a day Chat Icon

Re: Do you think I need 2 changing tables?

my kids are 19 months apart. What i did was I moved the changing table (which also has drawers underneathe for clothes) into the babys room. I change my dd on my bed. I keep her diapers and wipes in my end table drawer. i figured she will probabaly be trained by the time my son is a year so why buy a table for one year. Its not great changing her on my bed but it works.
