Do you think I should buy...
the Ipod shuffle for DH? He claims he doesnt want anything, but I'd like to buy him something in the $75-$100 area. I bought him a bunch of DVD's and video games so I'd like to buy him one nice gift.
He takes the train into work every day and only takes his DVD player with him once or twice a week.
Honest opinions please.

I think that sounds nice.
He'd probably use it more often than a bulky CD/DVD player.

I was going to get it for my little sister but DH said it's not the best because:
-It's small, only 1GB
-No screen so you can't see the song that's playing
-The clip seems like something that'll break easily
ETA: But I think they're great little things!

I'm really afraid he's going to lose it, which is why I want to get him the shuffle instead of the nano or video.

I use teh shuffle at the gym. And for snowboarding. It holds plenty of music, for random playing.
I think it's a good gift if he's goes to the gym.
