Do you think I should sell my stuff on ebay?
I have tons of really old barbies, cabbage patch, star wars toys, Disney Beanie Bags, children's books, matchbox cars.
All original and in the boxes.
I am not sure if it is worth the hassle.

You might want to try to sell them as a lot on Craigslist, rather than listing them individually.

Id sell them on ebay. Do some research on ebay and see what other similar items are worth. Craigslist is fine esp for bigger things that you dont want to ship but for top price and the ability to reach more people and have a guarantee that the person is buying it, eaby is the way to go. People flake out on craigslist all the time, try to low ball you, or just dont like something when they show up. Its their prerogative of course but with ebay youre item is sold. Period. FOr collectibles that are easy to ship, I would go with ebay.

if they hold no sentimental value, i say sell, sell, sell. i have an original Shirley Temple doll, still in the box. I don't think i'd get THAT much for it, but i could never part with it. Has too much senti. value to me.

See!!!! Make sure you check what completed sales went for on items that are the same as those you are planning to sell - so you know what the final outcome might be and you can price accordingly.

OMG YES! Start out with maybe 5 or 6 things just to get a feel for it.
I just started yesterday and could kick myself for not doing it sooner

My MIL has one of these & asked me about selling it online. How would I find the value of it?
