Do you think I will be a bad...
...mom and wife if I take off 3 weeks before my due date? I just cant handle the commute anymore. Granted I do drive but the traffic is annoying and my job has not been very fliexible with time. I have to be here at 9 am on the dot every day. I am due July 1st but planning to make my last day June 8th.

NOPE I don't!! I'm aiming to be out of work by the 1st of July and I'm not due until August...so hopefully my LAST day will be June 30th!

No! My last pregnancy I took off 2 months before my due date because I couldn't handle the commute or my bosses. You deserve some time to relax before the baby comes!

Why would that make you bad? Absolutely not... if you can afford it- I say, do it.
I freelance and actually have it pretty easy since we don't have to be here until 10. The commute is still killing me though! I'm due in July too- the 10th and if I don't get "hired" for longer, my last day will be May 4th

Not at all. I figure I'll definitely leave work at least two weeks before my due date, but it may be longer if I'm too wiped out at that point.
A long commute plus a full work day is very good reason to leave sooner. I think you're being a good wife/mother by doing what you need to take care of yourself and your baby.

Absolutely not! I just stopped working (today's my first day home) and I am 38wk 3d. I wanted to stop at least a week ago, but felt "guilt" from DH.
I think you need to listen to your body and do what's best for you. And stopping work will not back you a bad mother or wife!!
What does your DH say???

No I don't, you need to do what is best for you and the baby you don't need to push yourself too hard and have a problem.
I was trying to work until the beginning of June but it just didn't happen - the commute was hard and my hours weren't flexible. Also it wasn't a position I could work from home or from the local office.

Dh says i should stick it out until the end if I can. But its really up to me. He will be fine with whatever choice i make.
