Do you think it's a good idea?
I saw an ad post for cleanign woman in the local supermarket and took down the number becuase I really do need a cleaning woman.
I called her up: her rates are very reasonable and she is available on weekends. However, i started thinking, how safe is it to invite this perfect stranger into my home to do something as intimate as clean my house? Of course, I would be home the whole time but still... I mean, I didn't even get her from a recommendation, she is really and trully just a person from the street. What if this post is just a mean of getting into people's home and snooping around or something.. (I know I am being completely insane )
But am I really?  I just started thinking those thoughts after I totlaly decided to call her up and ask her to come in this weekend...
Any opinions?

i would check references but I also ran a background check on my last housekeeper. You can run a cheap one online, or you can hire a professional service - but that will cost you about $150.
