Do you think it's a good idea to buy winter maternity clothes now for next year????
I'm due at the end of November.
I know it's still so early, but they have such cute stuff on sale at A Pea in a Pod, and I know I'm not going to want to pay full price next year.
Am I jumping the gun??

It's hard to know what size you will be. My clothes were SOOO big at the beginning and I though they would last the entire pregnancy.
I am now buying 1 size bigger than a the beginning for Spring/summer clothes.

I haven't made any baby related purchases yet, due in early November. I'm sure I will soon but I am superstitious.

The superstitious thing is the only thing holding me back.
I figure I should buy Large considering it will be the end of my pregnancy.

Ditto. I thought I was all set and then suddenly I can't fit into stuff that fit me fine last week.
ETA: Maybe some tops you can get away with, but I would advise staying away from pants until you know how you are going to carry.

I would prob. wait - you never know how big you are going to get. Some girls don't get that big - and some do. There are always sales. And also - the whole supersticious thing. JMHO.

I would wait. You have know idea how big or small you might be + there are always sales + October is an iffy cold month (like Mar is an iffy warm one) and then in Nov you're done. There are cheaper places than Pea in Pod too. Pea's sale prices are a lot more than a normal price at Penny's, Old Navy, even the Gap. PLUS I found Pea's larges run kinda small...maybe that's just me haha.

Good call, I bought some spring stuff early (at around 14 wks) & tried on some shirts this week & found them tight already!
I should have bought a size larger

I think it's best to wait - a sale may save you money now, but if you put the money into the bank and earned interest - it will probably work out very similar.

I wouldn't... I bought things thinking they'd fit me later on and they totally don't! I went from a Medium to an Extra Large in some stores.... I'd hold off even though the prices are pretty tempting!!!

I actually had to buy new tops at the end. The pants fit me fine all the way through.

I agree with these ladies. For me, pants aren't an issue...it's tops. I am still "swimming" in the xs and 0 sized pants but my xs shirts, well, those are slowly being moved to weekend/afterwork only. I've had to invest in small [next size up] with just 12 weeks to go. It's a bit aggravating, but honestly had I bought the larger size in advance, I would've just felt messy/sloppy and I'm hormonal enough, I simply would've had no self-esteem left.
