Do you think it's stupid to get the exact same dress in two different solid colors?? Edited with image of dress
I found a great dress in Marshall's today: a Cynthia Rowley in dark cobalt blue, which I love. And wouldn't you know it, as I kept on browsing through the dress rack I found the exact same dress in black.
It's relatively plain dress with a slightly puffy skirt, t-shirt like top and a race back. Can be dressed up or down. I just love both of them and feel like the black one is more formal, while the blue one can go either way but it's definitely more "cute" rather than dressy just because of its color.
Do you think it's silly of me to keep both? (they were only $30 each??) 
This is the dress in pink, while mine are in Blue and black, of course.

no way!! ... i have a dress in 3 colors from lands end ... it's a light cotton, comfy dress for the summer ... throw a sweater over it and some nice jewelry and it's good for a restaurant - nothing with it and it's nice and cool for the summer ...

i do that all the time with clothes i like that fit well
hell ill buy the same item in the same color and multiples
i cant tell you how many identical white v neck american apparel tees i own..i think im up to 8 or so?

I would think of it like a wardrob staple and do it. It is not like having two evening dresses the same. This is fo everyday use. With a cardi or a scarf the whole look changes!!

If I love the dress why not? I've done it with shirts, dresses shouldn't been any different.

same here. I just bought a land's end dress in three different colors, they were 29.00 each and could be dressed up or down

Not at all!!! Who told you it was stupid! When i find a top, skirt, or pants I buy them in all sorts of color!!! Buy both!!!
