To soon for me. I love Thanksgiving and won't decorate until after.
We also go out east and cut down our own trees and we won't be doing that until the 2nd weekend in Dec.
I will, however, put up all the other decorations probably the sat. after Thanksgiving.

personally, I think its too early, but then again, we always have a live tree, so it would be dead well before Christmas if we put it up now! The earliest I would put mine up would be the weekend after Thanksgiving. We also leave ours up until the Epiphany (early January).

I just started seeing Christmasy stuff in stores, and I think its wayyy too early for that.....And..its 60 degrees out! lol

Way too early for me. I once put the tree up the weekend after thanksgiving and I was tired of it being there and having stuff moved around before Christmas even got here.
But...if you love it and want it up now...go for it!!

I agree with this as well. I want to enjoy T-day with my family and enjoy the fall decorations one last time.

No, I say go for it. I have been making some Christmas ornaments and can't to put my tree up to display them. Maybe I will put my tree up this weekend.

I think it's too soon. I would (and will) wait until after Thanksgiving.
I just feel like it's rushing the Thanksgiving holiday if you put your Christmas tree up that soon.
I feel like life moves really fast as it is, if we allow ourselves to go along with that mindset we lose the point of the holiday.
Heck there will be stores opening at midnight Thanksgiving night - talk about rushing the holiday! We won't be more than 1 second done with the holiday and stores will be open to start the holiday shopping season.
It's too much if you ask me.

As a Christmas nut, I say do you what you want, and don't listen to anyone that say it's too early 
My ipod playlist of Christmas songs is in full effect, and my tree will be up a few days before Thanksgiving.
May be early to some - don't really care. It only comes once a year for such a short period of time and is such a nice time for us.

I was just talking about this with DH yesterday. All of the town around us have the Christmas stuff out on the light posts already. Halloween wasn't even 2 weeks ago. 
I think it would be so strange to be eating Thanksgiving dinner with the Christmas tree up. Call me crazy, but I like actually celebrating each individual holiday with its individual "things" and not having it mashed into one.

You know, I didn't think it was a big deal..but I see to some it is. That's ok. People are entitled to their opinions, and in all fairness I did ask them for input. Regardless I'm putting it up this Saturday.  Thanks - from one Christmas nut to another.

Me too!!!!
But we put up a real one.. so we usually go the week after thanksgiving to an xmas tree farm and pick out our tree.. cant wait!!
Oh.. and our christmas lights are up outside.. we never took them down
