Do you think my garbage men deserve a tip?
Let's see.....they continously leave my gate open after we have spoken to them a number of times. Even after speaking to them about it they continued to do it and we lost our puppy (which thankfully we found a week later). Then last week we put out bags of plasterboard for special pick-up and one guy was nasty to me and said I made the bags too heavy.....when I explained that the person I spoke to on the phone said not to make them heavier than 75 pounds and we made them half of that.....he replied by saying , "Well the ladies that answer the phone are 100 years old". Then he goes on to say that there is a limit to the number of bags that can be put out, meanwhile I specifically asked that question and the woman said there was no limit.
DH still wants to give them something, however, I feel they deserve crap. Thoughts? Comments?

I wouldn't tip them either. First, they let your puppy out. Second, if you guys were able to lift the bags to get them out to the curb, they should have been able to get them in the truck, IMO. If they couldn't have, or it was a problem, they could have been a little nicer about it.

no way in Heck they would be getting a tip from me esp bc of the puppy episode. I hate to say it, but I don't really understand why you would tip them anyway. I feel like this tipping stuff is getting out of hand.
