Do you think once you start a Thread and it goes on the second page, you get less responses?
Or do you think if it's interesting enough people will respond?
Just to add, I'm not talking about anything I post. It's just a general question and I'm curious.

I think the second page still gets some action-- but, it's rare to make it back up to the top-- sometimes I see my posts from like 24 to 48 hours earlier and I am like, what the...?

When you think about it, the question sounds like a Yogi Berra quote"Nobody goes there anymore; it's too crowded."
When a thread gets to multiple pages, I'll often skim over or skip some of the pages. If it's an interesting title, and good first post, I'll jump to the end and write something, but a lot of times, if there's too many posts, I won't bother responding. Especially if what I was going to write was already stated a few times.
