Nope. They seem to be focusing on the main roads today. You know, 36 hrs later.

I have been out and about since yesterday afternoon. Roads by me are fine.

We have 3 feet of snow in front of our driveway.
Not one plow as been by at all
And sadly, I am not the only one judging by on here and on FB and my friends/family IRL too
I think being plowed is the exception not the rule with this one.
If you have been plowed- be grateful

Same here. There is no way out. I've been reading comments on sachem patch's fb page since they asked who hasn't been plowed in the sachem community and no one has. This is ridiculous. DH and I are wondering how we are going to get to work tomorrow.
I should say however that we do have one car out bc DH didn't get home until late afternoon but its parked in a parking lot a few blocks away since he can't get it up the block. We may have to pack a bag and stay elsewhere.

Do you think side roads will be plowed today?
It's really scary though. I know main roads should be a priority but I always get anxious if something were to happen and you need an ambulance or something.
Irrational fears, I know.

They just came to my neighborhood this morning. It took three big plow trucks so long to clear one relatively short side street by me. I think it'll be a while before everyone is plowed out.

I have not been plowed, but I am on a dead end in one of the 30 inch towns. I can't expect my street to be worked on when major highways are still in terrible shape.

Not irrational at all! I don't mind so much that we can't get out or even if I have to work from home for a few days, but the thought of an emergency makes me feel a bit anxious.

I got almost 2 feet. We have been plowed since I woke up yesterday!!!
It's not really about how much snow but more about how your town went about the clean up. There is really no excuse at this point why towns have not plowed.
