Do You Think The Statement "Death Comes In Threes" is true?
Before the last few months, I would have probably said no, but I'm starting to believe it.
Within the last 6 months, my family has lost 3 family members. During the last funneral service someone said to me "well this is the third, so hopefully we're finished"
I looked at them, at the time and thought, huh? But the more I think about it, the more I'm starting to wonder...
What are your thoughts?

No, I think people just notice it more b/c they are looking for it. I've heard people use celebrity deaths as part of their 3, which seems like a stretch to me.

No, I don't think it's true - I think it's just a coincidence. When I hear about one person dying, I don't look around to see who the other 2 are going to be. I hope every wake/funeral is the last one I go to for a while.

yes. It happens all the time with me.
My dad's employee, my dad's friend, and then a friend of the family. All within a month or so And it always happens like this for us.

No. Thousands of people die everyday and every person is born with a 100% chance of dying. The odds are you will know of someone who has died when you are trying to think of people to fulfill who the 3 people are.
What are the time restraints on this saying too. My grandmothers died a week apart from each other about 7 months later my cousins aunts aunt died and someone said oh we have our 3 now hopefully that will be it for a long time. It amazed me that someone would think like that.

They probably burn out in threes because they were originally replaced in threes due to a random power surge that blew the bulbs. By the time one blows, it is time to replace the others because they are all the same age.
