Do you think these furniture sets are too feminine for a boy?

My son's furniture is actually similar to the first set, but in pecan. I didn't think it was too feminine then... and I don't now... but this first set is slightly more curvy than DS's.

I would get the same sleigh crib with either set...

Please give me your opinions. Are they both too feminine? One or the other?

Thanks!!!

Ahh, Natart, right? (Do you know what stores carry these to look at?)

I don't think it's super feminine, especially in this stain.

I did look at the Bella (that's the first one, right?) for our nursery and we're Team Chat Icon, but would have gone with the white Chat Icon

YES!! Natart. DS's is Natart Meaghan in Pecan with the Logan sleigh crib. Bought in 2007, both discontinued now... I LOVE the crib and that it converts to a twin bed. So hard to find...

Yes, the first one is Bella. Chat Icon

Thanks for your reply!

ETA: I know BBB carries Natart, but I don't know what they have on display to look at. I bought DS's at Sukon's in Queens. They had Natart on display, but they are no longer there...

Re: Do you think these furniture sets are too feminine for a boy?

Thanks everyone.

I'm going to start looking... I don't even think BBB carries Natart anymore...

I just love that the crib converts to twin. We couldn't easily fit a full in his room.

I wanted one that converted to a twin - why are they SO hard to find Chat Icon ???

We ended up getting a lesser expensive crib (that matched but didnt go with the dresser and armoire) and will end up gettting a twin bed seperately when the time comes...

That is EXACTLY what I was thinking of doing if we don't go with a Natart set. Natart seems to be the only brand that has a crib to twin. If we eventually decide on another brand/set, I was thinking of getting a somewhat inexpensive crib in as close to the same color as possible and getting the twin bed to match if possible...

I actually wanted to convert Thomas' bed back to crib and use his set for baby and get T new furniture, but he seems to be attached to his stuff and wants to keep it forever, even when he's a big brother (his words)... LOL

Thanks!

It's a personal preference - I like straighted lines for a boy's furniture.

For some reason I find the curves feminine -

I don't think it is too feminine, but I also don't think it really matters.
