Do you think this is too "girly" for a 2 yr. old boy?

I have been going crazy looking for a present for DH's cousins 2 yr. old son. He LOVES music and not finding anything I love at Toys R'Us. I saw this in Targe. It is made by Parents. I even bought one for DS b/c he played with it the entire time we were in the store. DH says he thinks it looks to "girly" Chat Icon I said, "why, b/c it's not a football" Chat Icon I also got him a set of maraccas to go with it. It plays a ton of different songs and different sounds and is like a real keyboard.

I think it's girly but if DS loves it then get it for the other boy.

It is a parent's magazine toy? I think then it is unisex, they try to make their toys very unisex.

screams girl to me. Usually when I question what I am doing...I am usually right. Target should have something like that a lil more unisex...try there.

Na, the only thing that makes it look girly is the eye lashes, lol. I think that is a great gift.

hmmm im on the fence.. Its defiantly more girly than boy IMO. just b/c of the purple. If it was another color with the green then i would go with neutral.

what about this toy.. music stuff, sell at target. I just bought for sunflowerdmsnr son and asked my sis to buy for dd for christmas:

Nope. Not a bit too girly.

But then again - I bought a pink Easy Bake Oven for my son when he was 5.Chat Icon

I have both of the toys that were posted and my girls love them but they would absolutely be fine for a boy as well...

the only reason the keyboard toy looks girly is b/c the cat is female, but it probably won't turn your DH's cousin into a homosexual (if that's what you're worried about)Chat Icon

I am going to vote that it's not girly since I bought one for my nephew and my DS, both of whom are 2 year old boys. it has very cute features, I love how you can make it "meow" the songs. BJs has it for $20 BTW.

Which BJ's did you see it in? I got it at Target for $30 but $20 is much better.

I got it at the one in Farmingdale 2 weeks ago but I was at the Levittown location on Friday and they had them there too.
