3 series SUV or car? Which kind of car seats? I don't think so. I find it hard putting 3 car seats in the back of any car.

Keep in mind that even if you can fit 3 across, you can't always put 3 across. The owner's manual for my PT explicitly says that you can't have 3 across. I have huge seats, so that isn't an issue, but if we had thinner seats, we still wouldn't be able to handle 3.

I don't think so... ALthough, depends on the car seats maybe.
I had a Pontiac Vibe. I fit a Marathon facing forward on the left, an infant seat in the middle facing back, and a booster seat on the right. It worked, but the infant seat had to go in first, and the booster was backless, which helped.
3 car seats?? Probably not.

I dont think so. I just turned in my Lexus RX330 b/c we want a bigger SUV already with just 1 carseat.

My volvo xc 90 fits 3 car seats across my sisters trailblazer doesnt. Some cars are just smaller

I don't think it would
but you can always call a dealership and ask.
Also, I would see if 3 is even allowed in the car/truck like that

Probably not. However, I can ask my DH since he is an engineer for BMW. I have an X5 and it is tight with 2 marathons. My X5 has the third row seating but I have yet to put a car seat back there.

My father has a X3 and we are able to put the car seat in his car, but it has to go on one of the sides. Due to the bump in the middle it cant be put there.
eta: just reread your title.. 3 car seats? No way the X3 could fit 3, the most would be 2 and they still will be close together.

It may fit in the X5 but it would be a tight squeeze. We were looking at the X5 and thought of it fitting 2 seats made me wonder.
