Do you treat or waterproof your leather boots?
Just got a gorgeous pair for Christmas and they are a light camel color leather.
Do I need to waterproof or treat them at all?
I can't find any info on care on the box or the website they came from.

I always used to, with the spray. Now I keep the spray on hand and I just forget or I'm too busy. It does help, though.

Does the spray change the color or patina or anything?
I just am worried that spraying it will change the look since the leather is a light color.

I use waterproof spray once a year....twice if I remember.
