Do you wear a winter coat while in the car
Silly question .... I know. Talking with some friends about this today. If it's cold out and you get in the car, do you leave your coat on? off?

I don't even own a winter coat because I'm always warm, but I cannot wear any kind of fleece, sweater or anything while driving. It annoys me.

I usually keep it on because I drive a clown car and there is no room to finagle trying to take the darn thing off and put it on in the drivers seat, *sigh*, I need a new car.

OMG great post! I was just thinking about this yesterday.
For me it depends on the weather. I will usually leave it on in the dead of winter but on the fringes of winter, I usually take it off because the sun makes the car a lot warmer than it is outside.

I usually wear a peacoat or a puffer vest so it's not as annoying to me.

No, I hate it. I also usually have the heat up, so it goes to DS in the back seat, so I don't need the coat.

Depends...if it's REALLY cold outside I'll keep it on at least until the car warms up, but if it's not that bad out I'll just carry it and then throw it on as I get out when I get to wherever it is I'm going.

If it's Jan-Feb in the morning driving to work, yes, the whole way. On my way home, I tend to take my jacket off more often.

I have such broad shoulders and long arms that I never find a coat that really fits. With that said its so uncomfortable to wear a coat while driving.

Off. I tried to drive with it on today and it was bugging me after 5 minutes. Luckily I didn't have to go far.

I wear it, I think it would be too much of a hassle to get it on and off and if I have to step out of the car to put it on, that defeats the purpose...

I take it off the minute the car is warmed by the heat. I absolutely hate wearing a winter coat and avoid it as much as possible.

Except for extreme mornings I usually don't wear my heavy winter coat unless I plan on spending time outside. Bubble vest and a scarf, or a regular north face is what I will wear most of the winter. I will take off my winter coat for longer trips even when it is really cold.
