Do you wear flame resistant pajamas on your children?
I don't mean do you only wear them exclusively, I mean do you actively avoid them due to concerns over chemicals?
I had heard some mention in passing about concerns with flame resistant pajamas and I thought I had been avoiding them. I would make a point not to buy pajamas with big FLAME RESISTANT tags on them. I just came to discover that all fleece pajamas and basically anything that isn't tight fitting cotton is flame resistant. I loved the fleece footie sleepers for DS and even DD still on occasion in the winter. Now I'm second guessing if I should be putting them in anything besides cotton due to the chemicals. . . Or maybe I'm just being ridiculous.
If you only use cotton pj's, how to you keep LO's warm who kick off or are too young for blankets?

Honestly I don't pay attention to any of this. I eat what I eat, buy what I buy, and go about my day. If I worried about all the crap that people said caused this and that, and would kill me in 2 hours, I would be in a white padded room.

This. I can't worry about all this. I have enough to worry about. I'd be on meds. So far, knock on wood, we are all still alive and kicking.

The halo sleepsacks say they are not chemically treated with fire retardants. We used those until recently when we finally gave DD a blanket at 2.5.

I don't really pay attention to what it is - I've been buying him cotton PJ's and he has a halo sleep sack on top during the night.

I don't use them. I don't like the feel of the fabric. No clue what's on them, but it's probably bad for you.

I've never even thought about it... another thing to worry about! I'm not even sure, I will have to check.

I put my son in cotton and wool (neither of which have flame retardants in them) not only because it's a way to easily avoid additional chemicals in his life, but also because polyester/fleece always makes him really sweaty.

This is what I used last winter. At first a sleep sack but then they make a wearable blanket which is the same but has feet holes so the can walk.
Don't quote me on this but I read god forbid there is a fire the pjs will melt I to their bodies. I avoid as much as possible but I avoid all chemicals as much as possible and did this for myself even before I had children.
Also FYI my grandma made me a bunch of sleep sacks. If you know someone craft or you're crafty yourself I assume they're super easy to make!
