Do you work or know anyone who works for nassau county police department?

Do you work or know anyone who works for nassau county police department?
If so, would you or they know if you have to be a cop to work in their IT department? TIA!

I just asked my brother..he's a Nassau Cop...he said that he believes that they only have a small computer unit that you DO need to be a cop for... however, the county has a general IT department that you do not need to be a cop for....
He is not 100% sure on the county requirements, but said that on the small NCPD unit he believes it is a must..

thank you. i do forensics so figured a PD would be a great place to work. now to find where they post those jobs...
